Beginners’ Level
Beginners’ Course (Level A1), Part 1:

This eight-week beginners’ course is aimed at students with little or no previous knowledge of Norwegian. It provides a comprehensive and practical introduction to the Norwegian language, with particular emphasis on pronunciation, basic grammar and everyday language use.
We will be working with God i norsk 1 (textbook and exercise book).

Beginners’ Course (Level A1), Part 4:

This fourth part of the beginners’ course is aimed at students with little previous knowledge of Norwegian. It provides a comprehensive and practical introduction to the Norwegian language, with particular emphasis on pronunciation, basic grammar and everyday language use.
We will continue working with God i norsk 1 (textbook and exercise book), starting in chapter 4 where we left off.

Upper Beginners’ Course (Level A2), Part 4:

This upper beginners’ course is aimed at students who have previously completed languages courses covering level A1.
We focus on all aspecs of the language, and continue practicing more advanced sentence stucture, past tense verb forms, adjective forms and everyday language use.
We will continue working with God i norsk 1, starting where we left off in chapter 11.

Intermediate Level
Intermediate Course (Level B1), Norskprøve B1 preparation:

- Duration: 11 weeks, 2 lessons/session, 22 lessons in total
No class during vinterferie (19. February) - Maximum 6 students
This course is aimed at students with a comprehensive foundation in Norwegian, corresponding to the completion of levels A1 and A2 (having finished På vei or God i norsk 1 or an equivalent course book).
In this course, we build on the knowledge you acquired in previous levels and strengthen your understanding of Norwegian grammar. You learn to be more independent when communicating in Norwegian by practicing oral skills in a variety of context. We also continue working on written production and practice listening skills.
This course is also suitable for students who want to prepare for norskprøve (B1 to B2 level) as working with all aspects of norskprøve forms an integral part of the course.
We will be continue working with God i norsk 2, starting where we left off in chapter 4.

Upper Intermediate Course (Level B1) online:

In this course, we build on the knowledge you acquired in previous levels and strengthen your understanding of Norwegian grammar. You learn to be more independent when communicating in Norwegian by practicing oral skills in a variety of contexts. We also continue working on written production and practice listening skills.
We will continue working with God i norsk 2, starting with chapter 10.

Advanced Level
Advanced Course (B2/CI), Norskprøve B2 preparation:

- Last Course day: Friday, 27. March 2026
- Duration: 11 weeks, 2 lessons/session, 22 lessons in total
No class during vinterferie (20. February) - Maximum 6 students
This course is open to students who have an advanced knowledge of Norwegian, corresponding to level B1/B2. You have completed Stein på Stein or God i norsk 2 and may have worked with a textbook on B2 level before.
There will be a strong emphasis on vocabulary building and nuances in expression (pragmatics), in addition to reviewing and strengthening the grammar seen in lower levels. We work with different types of text to improve reading comprehension and oral skills. We will also work with written production of various text types.
This course is also suitable for students who want to prepare for norskprøve or an equivalent B2/C1 exam. We work with typical norskprøve exam topics to practice oral and written argumentation.
