This eight-week beginners’ course is aimed at students with an elementary knowledge of Norwegian and provides a practical introduction to the Norwegian language. We focus on basic grammar, syntax, pronunciation and everyday language use.
We will continue working with På vei, starting where we left off in chapter 4.
This course is intended for students who would like to bring their baby to class.

Beginners’ Course, Part 3:

- Duration: 8 weeks, 2 lessons/session, 16 lessons in total

This third part of the beginners’ course is aimed at students with a basic knowledge of Norwegian and provides a practical introduction to the language. We focus particularly on sentence stucture, differenct verb forms, pronunciation and common expressions. We go on working with På vei, starting with chapter five.

- Duration: 10 weeks, 2 lessons/session, 16 lessons in total
- OBS: no course on 14. oktober (høstferie) and 4. november
- Maximum 5 students – just one place left
This course is intended for students who would like to bring their baby to class. It provides a comprehensive introduction to Norwegian, with particular emphasis on basic grammar, pronunciation and practical language use.
The fifth part of the course is aimed at students who have already taken courses to cover the basics of the Norwegian language. We continue working with God i norsk.

Intermediate Level
Lower Intermediate Course:

This course is aimed at students with a good foundation in Norwegian, corresponding to the completion of level A1 and most of A2. It provides a comprehensive and practical introduction to the Norwegian language, with particular emphasis on central aspects of grammar and practical language use. This course is full!
We will revise important grammar from the last chapters of På vei, and build vocabulary based on texts both from På vei and other text books.

This course is aimed at students with a good foundation in Norwegian, corresponding to the completion of level A1 and A2 (the equivalent of having finished På vei). It provides a comprehensive and practical introduction to the Norwegian language, with particular emphasis on central aspects of grammar and practical language use.
We will work with Stein på Stein or an equivalent course book for level B1 (to be determined before the course start).
This course is primarily intended for students who would like to bring their baby to class.

Advanced Level
Advanced Course (open level):

- Course start: Wednesday, 28. August 2019
- Last Course day: Wednesday, 9. October 2019
- Duration: 7 weeks, 2 lessons/session, 16 lessons in total
- Maximum 5 students
This course is open to students who have an advanced knowledge of Norwegian, corresponding to level B1/B2. You have completed Stein på Stein and worked with Her på Berget before.
There will be a strong emphasis on vocabulary building and nuances in expression (pragmatics), in addition to reviewing and strengthening the grammar seen in lower levels. Reading contemporary Norwegian literature is another core element of this course, and we will practice our oral skills based on discussions of different types of text.
The long-term aim of this course is to prepare students for Bergenstesten or an equivalent exam.
